Classroom
An educated boater is a better boater! We offer a wide range of boating courses and seminars for all levels, including boat handling, navigation, boating rules and regulations, marine electronics and boat maintenance. Please check out the classes being offered.
Hands-On Training
Our certified and experienced instructors combine classroom learning with on-the-water coaching. That means with technical education plus real-world techniques, you get onto the water and into fun, safer and faster!
On-Water Training Guides
The On-Water Guides provides a framework for experienced members to offer up to 2 hours of one-on-one customized training to a student on the student’s boat.
BOC Program
We will challenge you to be the best boater you can be. BOC – The Boat Operator Certification program recognizes the skills of America’s Boating Club members at different levels of recreational boating proficiency.

Current Class Schedule
All classes are open to the public — no membership required. Most courses are held at the
Oceanside Yacht Club Classroom, 1950 Harbor Drive N, Oceanside, CA 92054.
